Yes, our support team can change the primary domain for your cPanel account. However, this will not change the username for the account.
If the new primary domain is already in use, this process will disconnect the domain from the website, making the website unavailable. Before the primary domain is changed, please review the following:
– Have the website files in the correct place before the switch, or be prepared to move them as soon as the switch occurs.
– Download or backup any emails or email accounts with the former primary domain that may or may not be affected.
– If your website is database-driven (i.e. WordPress), be sure to edit any configuration files with the new primary domain information.
