How do I back up a customer’s web site?

  1. Login to your Canvas Dreams WHM panel.
  2. Locate the Account Information box in the right-hand side of the page. Click List Accounts.
  3. Choose the account you would like to backup.
  4. Locate the Files box on the right-hand side of the customer’s website administration page. Click Backup Wizard.
  5. In Step 1, click on the Backup button on the lower left-hand side to begin.
  6. To make a complete backup of your customer’s website, click the Full Backup button in Step 2. To create a partial backup, follow the instructions to add what you would like backed up.
  7. In Step 3, choose where you would like the Backup Destination to be.
  8. cPanel will automatically insert the administrator email account in the Email Address field. If you would like to use a different email address, change it here.
  9. If you would like to use FTP or SCP to download the backup, provide the info in the available fields.
  10. Click Generate Backup.
